Haiti is blocking the deportation of more than 30,000 Haitians from the United States.The US ordered the deportation of these individuals settling illegally there, but Haiti refused to process their travel documents, saying that it is still recovering from last year's hurricanes, leaving it unready to accept its citizens at the moment. Roughly 1.9 percent of the entire population of Cuba will be gone when they take advantage of Spain's new citizenship law take into effect.The law, called the Law of Historic Memory, gives citizenship rights to children and grandchildren of Spaniards who fled their home country during the Spanish civil war or were exiled during the regime of Gen. Francisco Franco. An expected million people will be able to get Spanish citizenships. Authorities of Puerto Rico police found an arm and other body part under the fuselage of the aircraft, a Cessna 206 that has crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near Quebradillas city a week after the unfortunate event. The privately owned plane was flying from Dominican Republic when it crashed with its pilot and 5 passengers which are all prominent Puerto Rican business people. The Lavalas Family Party, country's most popular political party, was barred from the April 19 Senate elections by the Haitian electoral officials because of failing to submit paper to former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide for authorizing the party's list of Senate candidates. This decision to ban Lavalas is feared to bring a new wave of unrest and political instability in Haiti.
