The education system in Bermuda is beyond broken. For too many years too many education ministers have tried to "fix" the problem without actually doing anything. Jamaican teachers and employers are in complete agreement about a new Caribbean-wide test. The test is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment and continued learning for life. So far 8000 Caribbean students have registered for the exam and Jamaica has the most.Original source: Jamaica Observer. When students in the U.S. don't have the grades, the test scores, or the money to get into medical school there, they often look to medical schools in the Caribbean. But because there is no uniform standards with the Caribbean schools students are often woefully unprepared for licensing exams when they get back to the United States. St. Theresa's is one such medical school.
